Remembering my first song I wrote
Wednesday, November 2nd, 2005Suddenly I recall of this matter when I come back to my hometown, when the time is so close to my high school brotherhood of 2-4 reunion.
I wrote a song for the first time at my age of 14. The song was of the genre of gospel dance, named "Hidup Ini Indah". That was good song except reffrain. You can imagine the song just like Kla Project’s Rentang Asmara (but at that age I haven’t known that song yet). This song was composed for a homework, done by group, of Art Class. The teacher asked each groups to perform a brand new song. Then, I composed this song, arranged the musical performance, and my friends brought the instruments and vocals out except for the keyboard session of me. That was also the first time of my gigs after 3.5 years I had left music. And we performed successfully. And I wonder why I forget how can I played a very fast arpeggio at melody session. Nonetheless, it was 7 years ago. After that I didn’t create any song at all (vacuum) until I was 18 years old, when I was on 3rd semester of Sistem Informasi ITS, creating song named "Cinta Selaksa Makna".
